Changelog 25.05.21


Changes:

  • Added pause. Just press "P".
  • Rebalanced spawning system. Now each wave has fewer enemies, making the game progress quicker.
  • Changed score system: multiplier now decays faster, but doesn't decay completely and is instead reduced by one. This is done to emphasize that idling around is not as bad as getting hit. Getting hit also doesn't reduce multiplier to 1, but to a base multiplier value, which depends on current wave. Multiplier increment now also depends on the number of the wave and gradually gets higher. This is done to reward player for staying alive longer.
  • Changed chasers' angular velocity, so that they can aim faster and it would feel more consistent. Also increased the minimum distance from the player they need to be to start aiming.
  • Added a green outline around player's ship, indicating the readiness of blink. It disappears after blinking and reappears and gets brighter when blink is about to leave cooldown. Ship also flashes when the blink is ready.
