Devtober 2022 Breakdown


This year I decided to participate in Devtober again, as usual, but this time I was really lazy and apathetic. This was probably caused by the fact that TD2S is almost completed and the stuff that still needs to be done(tutorial, full-screen mode, settings, etc.) is not fun to work on at all. I only managed to push 10 commits into the repository, which is very few, compared to last year's 33 commits.

State of the project:

It's still at the "mostly done" stage, in which it has been for several months now. I think I should've been able to complete it during Devtober, but as I've already said, it required working on boring features, and instead I mostly focused on the fun stuff, such as new enemies and enemy interactions. 

And due to my inability to force myself to implement the required features, it'll probably stay this way at least until the end of this year.

Changelog 31.10.22:

  • Added a new enemy that absorbs your bullets and turns them into mini chasers.
  • Mothers now spawn heavy mini chasers.
  • Added sounds for dragging/dropping/crafting, etc.
  • Fixed modifier position markers.
  • More rebalances and CSS refactorings.
