Big Update 24.04.22


I've been sporadically working on the game since November last year, but decided not to upload a new version until I've got drag'n'drop working. But now that it's done, I can finally post the update. 

Changes:

  • New features:
    • Drag'n'drop for modifiers.
    • Modifier limit for guns is now cost-based instead of number-based.
    • Guns can be select using keys 1-5 now.
  • New modifiers:
    • "Bre" - gives your bullet a 25 percent chance to destroy an enemy bullet upon collision. Very useful when dealing with bombers, but also very rare and expensive.
    • "Aci" - applies acid status effect to enemies, which temporarily reduces their armour.
    • "Brn" - applies burning status effect, which make enemies take damage over time. Ignores armour completely.
    • "Frz" - freezes enemies, reducing their speed, firerate, etc. 
  • Status effects are passed from enemies to their children.
  • New enemies:
    • Mine layer - lays mines, that explode when you collide with them. They can also be triggered by bullets, or entering their detection field, in which case they will explode with a delay. Their shrapnel deals damage to enemies as well, but mine layers have a thick armour to protect from it.
  • Changes: 
    • Homing bullets now prioritize enemies by angle relative to their trajectory.
    • Rebalancing
  • Misc. bug fixes
